Interesting fights who all end in an upset KO (except maybe JT/Pav), but then are end up as close decisions in the rematch. Proving the difference in technical skills/consistency, the other fighter adjusted and almost pulled it off. Other examples?
Interesting enough, the winners of these fights havent accomplished much either after these wins, it was basically downhill from there.
that is not true. Hearns went on to win the WBO supermiddleweight title, and then later beat Virgil Hill to win the WBA light heavyweight title and won different titles and had one more superfight with Leonard. That isn't exactly going downhill a lot. He never fought the same as he did then, but he was still good.
