When I first looked at this I have to be honest I fancied Barnes quite strongly but the more I think about the fight the more I think this is very close and tough to call.

Not sure David will appreciate Barry's pressure for three minutes a round and if Morrison can keep that up for 12 rounds I can see him making this very very close and possibly taking the belt.

Despite both men having decent power, both have reasonable chins and despite Barnes being stopped by Okine I think it was he holds a good shot, therefore I think a distance fight is most likely.

I just wonder if Morrison gets off to a good start and attacks Barnes from the start whether the tentative David we have seen sometimes will come to the fore again and allow himself to be bullied a shade.

This is a fight I am looking forward to and be interesting to know peoples views

If Barnes repeats his recent form, I would back him to win.

i hope barnes is back to full fitness, because we dont want to hear excuses, when barry brings the title home :good

baz has never stopped training for this one even when the call off happened, so i expect him to be like a tazmanian devil with a sore head at "seconds out", all the pressure is on barnes, and we know barry can travel and win.

so a bold bid expected from the bizness, cant wait for the away day banter, :happy:happy:happy"thers only one baz the bizness":happy:happy:happy:happy

As long as Baz doesnt let his head go down if Barnes steals some of the early rounds he can win this one.

I know Baz posts here & I dont want to be on the end of one of his bodyshots for saying this if he ever meets me in the future, but his only weakness is that he lets his head go down if his opponent outboxes him in the early rounds... If Baz can pressure Barnes & keep focused, I have no doubt he takes Barnes out inside the distance. Morrison has frightening power if he lands clean on any opponent, he just has to keep his mind on the job & not lose heart if Barnes is running & trying to steal the rounds, which he is almost certain to do. If Baz keeps on him, Barnes doesnt have the stamina to fight at a high tempo & will unfold dramatically.

Morrison to win inside the distance if he keeps up the pressure & fights like he did against Lenny Daws.
