I also like his performance in the third fight against Ceferino Garcia, in which both men looked good. Here are some short clips: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swymNKyzZ0E[/ame] He fought with a broken left hand.
Yeh, he really is a truly great fighter, I think what marks him down is his consistency on film, you watch a guy like Pacquiao and you see these amazing moments of brilliance he performs that really blows your mind, while Ross dosent have these moments, he is just very good for the full fight and that is what is mindblowing just the consistency he has in a fight, just takes a moment to realise. I actually thought Canzoneri deserved the edge in that fight, thought his better ring generalship and jab carried the day for him in a very close fight. I think P4P number 1 is out of his realm but he is definitly one of the best ever.
I thought the 2nd Canzi fight was pretty one sided, I have highlights of all 15 rounds, that runs about 25 or so mins. The thing in that fight is Tony relly had no answer for the jab, Ross was putting presser, and making Toney know his place for the first 8 or 9 rounds. By round 12 Toney started winning rounds in my book, but he was just too far behide by that point, it relly didnt matter.
I see it completly different I thought Canzoneri was dictating the pace with his jab and being the ring general, he landed the harder blows whereas Ross was more volume.
