I feel Whiataker at his best could beat all them, but would have to be at his 110% best.

I think Chavez would be to strong for Ross, and he would beat Nelson and Mcgirt. But De La Hoya would be to bg for him

I already answered the question when you asked it the other day. Yes, I used to box amateur. I'm sure a few of the pics posted when I was a bit more "lithe" would give you that impression. That isn't the case these days or when I used to box. Nor was it ever the case in actuality, even when for a period in which I was a lot leaner. But hey, if you want to continue to be a disrespectful *****, by all means go ahead. I just don't understand the point of seeking attention on a forum you have no respect in.

Read through the last 3 pages to see what the big deal is. If you think I'm starting this whole fiasco up again you have another thing coming. Do what you do man, I'm no longer interested.

You know enough about me to know that I post a lot of videos and that I'm from Finland, although nowhere in my profile does it state this.

Fighting each man once, I'd pick Ross over all of them, personally, with the latter two having the best chance at winning. I know the pick over Chavez is probabl going to raise some eyebrows, but Ross was a better welterweight than Julio and presents the same combination of skill, speed, generalship, movement, and chin that could defeat Julio.

Had he fought the same number of times Ross did, I think Whitaker would've had great success, but it'd have been hard to top going 9-1 going against HOF caliber competition in Canzoneri, McClarnin, Garcia, and Petrolle (10-1 if you were to include Fuller, whose probably a member of the "Hall of very good" if we're splitting hairs). It's possible Whitaker goes the perfect 10 or 11-0, but it's more than likely one of those guys gets a W or two in there if we look at it realistically.

I have no problem with someone who picks one man over the other, but I don't believe it's a wide gulf by any means on behalf of either fighter. Both were exceptional talents, and I think if we had full color, quality footage of Ross like we do Whitaker, it'd be evident to everyone. There's no sympathy involved or required to make the case for Ross being higher.
