Funny,how the wheels turn.In the 1940s,when i was growing up, most all experts who saw the great fighters from the early 1900s til the Ray Robinson era, chose a Joe Walcott, Jack Britton, and Ted Kid Lewis as superior welterweights over Barney Ross,and Jimmy McLarnin. Were those writers wrong in their ratings ? I think not ! We have no film of the great Jack Britton, but Ted Kid Lewis of England,aside from the Carpentier debacle, looks mighty impressive...
