Yeah, he could only fight at Guadalcanal as a middle aged man who could have done exhibitions stateside to pass the war. Real coward.
No you misunderstood he said at Guadcanal . Guadcanal I believe is an ancient Hebrew form of cage fighting where the tora is recited by the fighters while they try to win by submission and at the end of the contest a panel of rabbi's seated at ringside hold up cards giving scores to each fight and the fighter with the highest score is the winner
So easy and "clever" to ridicule the deeds of the hero of Guadalcanal... You must be proud of yourself ! atsch
What Barney Ross and other brave Allies did in the "Pacific Theatre" helped save our arses, so we can have the luxury of posting on this site. A little respect is due !
Burt you should read what I wrote instead of jumping to conclusions. Still my apologies if I offended you. Anyway since we never actually answered the question seriously and now we know what Broner looks like against a quality boxer in Maliginggi(?), I can't imagine a scenario in which Broner pulls this out. He won't hurt Ross and will be soundly outworked, as he waits for counterpunching opportunities that never come.
BE. Your answer for LR, doesn't merit a reply, so silly it is...So Barney Ross didn't do anything that anyone of us including Broner hasn't overcome ?...Darn it read your history. Barney Ross old and gray, ENLISTED in the Marines, was sent to Guadalcanal ,where he saved the lives of some remaining living Marines, by firing his gun all night, carried some wounded Marines back into their foxhole, whilst exposing himself to Japanese bullets and bayonets and routed the nest of enemy soldiers, therefore saving his buddies lives. Wounded and suffering from malaria, Barney Ross was given the Medal of Honor...And you say of this trash talking street punk Adrien Broner, "nothing Broner hasn't done before ".Shame on you BE... What is our society coming to ?.Adieu atsch
