    Ross is one of the overall most skilled fighters Ive seen on film..Emile is one of the most effective, even though I agree with how sweet_scientistt (I think) put it.. he has a style that can often be tedious.

    I think the fact Emile is the naturally bigger man would be a significant factor in the end as they are on par or close to it in many departments.

    Emile takes it on points 8-7 or 9-6.

    Griffith can use that strength and speed together to just edge it where it counts imo, when they are on boxing terms i actually see Ross doing the slightly better work, or maybe just getting the edge if that's a more apt way of putting it.

    Griffith close decision for me

    Griffith is a natural welter, Ross a nautral lightweight and Ross was not a big puncher. Griffith wins.
