    Hurry up, chaps. I don't know a lot about Barney other than he seemed a really decent bloke and am hoping for a bit of insight from those that know more than me, ie everyone.

    Overlooked 3 Division Champ (Ltweight, Jr.WW & WW Champ) in the 30's.

    Record: (72-4-3).

    In reality, never much more than a Jr. Welterweight maximum weight-wise.

    Unfortunately had to deal with prime Hank Armstrong as Ross's final fight as WW Champ
    & career.

    WW2 hero.

    I recall Ray Arcel saying that if Duran had trained like Barney Ross he didn't know when he'd ever lost. Very , very good fighter.
