Barrera And Hamed Are Buddies???

Lately Barrera was praising and thanking Morales for taking his retreat and for their trilogy. It was nice for him to say that when you know what kind of man he is.

 

Maybe I`m missing something, but what kind of man is he then? What I have read and heard about Barrera is that he`s a likeable person

 

He is too old now- interesting to wonder what weight he would fight at. I tend to agree with Sai that the Barrera fight was not the complete rout everyone says it was. I would like to have seen him fight Pac- Styles make fights and if Hamed caught Pac then it would have been interesting

 

I doubt it.

Steward and suarez were all wrong for Hamed, trying to get him to stand upright and right in front of fighters much taller with longer reach. He shouldve never had so much trouble with Paul Ingle, even though he did go on to win a world title afterwards. Everything Steward told Hamed in that fight was completely off, he's lucky Hamed's power finally won over.

 

That pretty much sums it up, and I agree with you.

Because of that logical observation, however, I give this thread 3 more posts before someone construes that as making up excuses for Hamed, followed up by "Pac KO2".

 

hamed was talking about a rematch with barrera last year, however people think he said this to help avoid prison for 'mitigating circumstances' to not be sentenced.

didn't work and can't see hamed coming back ever now. he's treated like a god in yemen and is minted

 

They are friends. Hamed respects what MAB did. I've seen them at fights together and there looks to be absolutely no animosity.
