Good to see these two greats trading nothing more than light verbal jabs. Too much to translate, the salient point is that they both agree there will probably not be a 4th fight, main road block being the weight. Eric wants to fight at around 140, MAB says he would be too fat at that weight. On a personal note, Morales looks so much taller than MAB. For some reason I remember them being pretty similar.
Morales broke down the technical aspects of fighting both Barrera and Pacquiao very well in that first vid. One thing I'm always surprised by is how well spoken and articulate MAB comes across. The guy sounds more like a Harvard grad politician rather than a guy who got his face punched in for a living. They also asked Morales at the end of that 3rd vid who gave him the more difficult fight; David Diaz, Pacquiao, or Barrera? Morales said Barrera.
Thought I was dreaming??? What the ****! Great stuff even though I can barely understand a word! Thanks so much!
Okayyyyyyyyyyy....I followed the Morales-Barrera rivalry for half a decade, Erik himself for a full one, and NOW they're best buddies??? Well, I've seen everything. If you'll all excuse me, I'm off to buy that beachfront property in Switzerland after all. Aside from which, I see that all the accumulated energy from 2yrs out of the sport is now powering Erik's mouth...the man oughtta go into commentating with his newfound love of yakking!
They didn't really come off as best buds though. More liike two sportsman who had a genuine respect for each other. Nothing more.
They're two guys that made a lot of money together. If they're smart, there's a lot more to made together, too. They know that.
