Barrera And Morales - Who Was The Greater Fighter?

Would Morales have beaten the Hamed that Barrera beat though? MAB beat Hamed by boxing cautiously and intelligently; Morales would likely have gone for the KO and left himself open.

I know Morales had an A+ chin in his prime, but Hamed had A+ power and may have been the one fighter who could have knocked out Morales. Thoughts?

 

its prob right... eric had way to much pride in his prime and would have almost certainly battled naz toe to toe, and boy that was a very stupid thing to do.

i thini MAB was certainly a clever'er fighter, but eric was the more natural fighter.

I think this will boil down to on who has more fans. I've been reading a lot here in ESB and most posters are just blinded simply being too much of a fan.

For me, the greater fighter I guess would be EM. But the one with the greater legacy would be MAB as MAB has fought all of them. Though may have not won all, but he did not leave any IFs.

 

This is not Academic Achievements but about Boxing Legacy. Morales Beat Guys barrera cannot beat & He has more Cajones. The only thing that Barrera has more is they're Head to head Matchup. But still their fights are all close & Morales beat him once.

 

The only guy Morales didn't fought is Marquez. But that fight was offered to Marquez, He just Priced himself out on this fight.

 

Morales. Warrior through and through. A very honorable one too...

 

I'd say Morales. Lets put it this way, if Morales retired after his victory over Pacman this wouldn't even be up for discussion.

This is a very close one though. Barrera did beat him 2 out of 3.

 

heart of a fighter definitely goes to EM, but the intelligent fighter was MAB..
career wise..i'd say it was Barrera who'd come as more legendary. voted for MAB as it would prove better paperwise. i like EM more because MAB was such a dirty fighter..

My answer is Barrera.

But more importantly, anyone who says one or the other easily is just hating. They are too close as fighters to rate one dominantly higher than the other.
