atsch Yea because he was so afraid of Morales/Barrera/Hamed right? This scumbag Arum had alot to do with those matchups not being made.. Marquez was looked upon as a very high risk/low reward opponent with no following so neither the fighter nor their promoters wanted any part of him which is understandable business wise.. Marquez was Hamed's mandatory for awhile and he wanted a shot badly but hamed always ignored him... One thing is clear though, Marquez never ducked those guys. It was the other way around.
Why are you slapping your head, Ivy? Is it not completely true that whilst Barrera and Morales were fighting one another multiple times, Marquez was busy handling the likes of Peden, Medina, and Gainer? A murderer's row. I'm not in the business of discussing the term "ducking". Passionate, bias fans such as yourself who have an agenda like to throw the term out to insinuate one fighter is scared of another, but that's not the real world. For whatever reason, Morales and Barrera have both fought and beat better opposition and that is why I find this non-debatable.
