I watched the Fana fight, it was Barrera`s first fight after he got the decision in the 3rd Morales fight... he KO`d him with the right hand to the jaw, wonderful achievement.

You can take it from the judges or you can watch it with your naked eyes if you can stop whacking it to EM's noble visage, it's the same result. MAB and EM were basically on the exact same talent level, MAB had a slightly better toolset for dealing with EM than EM had for dealing with MAB. There are opponents that EM could deal with more easily than MAB could, and vice versa.

If you'd stop with the schoolboy man crushes, you'd enjoy the sport a lot more. Honestly.

 I show a video that completely proves you wrong about him leading and countering with his right hand, and you still refuse to change your stance or admit you were wrong. That's you in a nutshell, PP.

MAB's right was his weaker hand, but it wasn't a "big weakness".

Thank you, I am surprised that you are able to just simply give credit where it's due. Maybe there's hope for you yet :thumbsup

Indeed. Very rarely has Bill be seen to give MAB props for anything. I'm as surprised as you are.

Are you getting the first and second fights mixed up? First fight was the clearest to score for MAB based on ring generalship and effective aggression - clean punching was close

Second fight could have been 7-5 either way and was the . I'd actually probably give Morales the nod. Been a while since I've seen it but don't remember there being a brawl

Like I say, he can't throw it straight down the pipe, I'm not saying he can't throw a winged hook with it. He himself has little confidence in it

He's doing it against a weaker opponent, why couldn't he use it against Jones, Pacman or Marquez?

No, you said he can't lead or counter with it effectively. I then showed you 6-7 rounds of him doing both against a former world champion in Enrique Sanchez and now you've changed it to "well..err..he couldn't throw it straight down the pipe". :yep

You have been proven wrong, and now you want to poke fun at MAB for his losses. You're a class act.

    But as for JMM...

    1. Some of you are realistic, some are not, you are not when it comes to comparing Marco to Morales or Marquez.

    2. You don`t like Morales anywhere near as much as you like Barrera, you ain`t gonna convince anyone that knows you on here of that **** so just give that up now.

    3. Again, there are stupid fans on both sides, there are also fans who call it like it is & speak truth.

Watch this wild looping 'hook' of a right hand MAB almost decapitates Fana with lol

    Does it get much straighter?

Powerpuncher, you know you're wrong. You've been proven wrong so definitively that it's impossible that it's escaped your notice. Is it really that impossible for you to just say 'You know what? I had an opinion, but after seeing that, I think I was wrong.'? I can tell you that my life has only gotten better since I learned how to do that. When I was about 13 years old.

Ahh right he can lead and counter against a punch bag, good going. As for 'former world champion', he picked up a title fighting a nobody for Cermeno's vacated championship, drew against a journeyman and lost it in his next fight

And with the impending end of the Palestinian crisis,we might just be able to admit we admire both, even if we favour one over the other.
And finally accept Barrera was better...:good

The first right was a hook, it wasn't an overhand, second one, granted but he was already out. But again it's about levels of opposition too, his right is fine at that level, move up the opposition and it disappears

For all of you that don't recognize this man, that's a teenage MAB. Apparently he could throw a right hand down the pipe when he was 17, but not when he was 27.
