Barrera said NO to immediate rematch after the 1st Morales fight.

Very soon after the 1st Morales MAB fight in which EM won by SD, EM offered MAB an immediate rematch because he had heard too many people say that they felt Barrera deserved the decision awell as Barrera himself making himself heard about his feelings that he won the fight.

Barrera said no & told EM to get in line like everybody else.....
Morales response was to say `All he does is cry, he doesnt want to fight me` & EM was 100% right.

Now, call me crazy but to me, there is only one man acting like a real fighter there & it aint Barrera & who does he think he is by telling anyone to get in line like he`s the 2nd coming of SRR or something.

Of course nobody wants to put themselves thru that sort of pain again, that was a murderous fight but it should have been EM saying no & trying to protect his perfect record, it seems to me that MAB was less of a warrior at heart, less willing to put himself on the line.

You all probably know that it took Morales 2 & half yrs to finally get Barrera in the ring again... fair enough if MAB didnt want to fight again but at least shut the **** up about how you were wronged by the judges if your not willing to prove it in the ring.

Anybody know more on this **** ?

 

Oops... my thread nearly made page 2 without a single reply, must be a lot of MAB fans on tonight.

 

The point I was trying to make was... if you are gonna ***** & cry robbery every time you do an interview about your fight with Morales then AT LEAST accept his offer of a return bout, otherwise keep quiet.... sounds fair to me.

Ps. 2 & a half yrs is far too long to wait for everyone, especially the fans, everyone who saw that 1st fight couldnt wait to see the rematch but thanks to Barrera, they did wait, Morales made it very clear on numerous occassions that he was ready to fight MAB any time.

These are my main points of the thread.

 

Im not gonna **** about here... I dont like Barrera, I want him to lose more or less every time he steps in the ring but the things Ive stated on the 1st page of this thread are also factual & those facts are several of the reason that I do not like the guy.

 

I had Morales narrowly winning the 1st fight... Morales clearly winning the 2nd fight & the 3rd fight level.
I have no problem with anyone who gives MAB the 1st & 3rd fights as long as they dont say he was a clear winner in either, I automatically lose faith in their ability to judge a fight if they spout nonsense like that.

Oh well, I suppose ESB would be pretty shitty if we all had the same view.

2-1 is not having someones number even if that score were correct but I think its wrong anyway. 3-0 would be having someones number IMO.


I agree that the 3rd fight was easiest to score which is why I scored it 6-6. Every rd was clear enough not to score an even rd except rds 3 & 4 (this is what cost Morales ultimately on the cards)

I gave MAB rd 3 & EM rd 4... 1 judge scored the same... another judge scored vice versa... but the last judge gave both to Barrera.

For the record... here is my rds for each fight....
1st fight... EM won rds 3,4,5,6,7,9 & 10.
MAB won rds 1,2,8,12.
11 was even.
(rds 3,4 & 9 could have gone to barrera & rds 1 & 8 could have gone to morales, tough fight to score)

2nd fight... EM won rds 1,2,4,5,7,8,10 & 11.
MAB won rds 6,9 & 12.
3 was even.
(rds 2 & 7 could have gone to Barrera if you ignore the knockdown morales scored in rd 7 & rd 6 could have gone to morales)

3rd fight... EM won rds 2,4,7,8,11 & 12.
MAB won rds 1,3,5,6,9 & 10.
(As said earlier, rd 3 could have gone to morales & rd 4 could have gone to Barrera)
