Agreed, but luckily he's yet to "grace" the Brit forum with his presence.

We're pretty realistic on here, its not a forum where we just tell each other how great British fighters are....

I don't think we do bad when you consider the size of the country, theres a lot of fighters that get hyped as potential world champs but come up short but thats the nature of boxing.

In the old days they'd have been European champs, top 10 world fighters, lost in a world title title shot and that used to be considered a very good career. These days it seems to be world title or nothing for a lot of the fans.

He was OK, but don't go overboard...when you lose to fighters like Clarkson and Wenton you can hardly be considered an ATG can you?

 

Yep, Barrera was awesome. Still, this isn't really a good gauge of 'showing us Brits how to be World class' I doubt he'd look as good fighting say, Howard Winstone.

 

British Forum is, for the most part, very realistic. hence why I've made this my home lately as opposed to the Classic, a lot of ****s popualate that forum nowadays.

Word is Barrera wants Paulus Moses. Another points loss methinks, Barrera is done. Can't see him operating at Lightweight. Probably still has enough to school the hideously overrated Valero though.
