Barrera signs 5 yr Deal w/King

    I just read on another site that Barrera just signed 5 year deal with out of all people Don King ! I know he wants to promote fights but does he also plan on fightingt a few times ?

    Barrera is way past his best and is obviously only fighting for money but I don't see him prevail against the elite now...

    According to Barrera, he will not fight again unless it is a big fight. In other words, his chances for fighting again are slim to none. Barrera wants to become a promoter and Don King is his beggining point. I don't think it was a right move though.

    Well if anyone can hype a crappy unworthy fight its DK...Remember Tyson vs McNeely??? King had people thinking that McNeely could actaully win the fight. I could see King getting MAB a big fight and making people think that he has a shot.:hey

    I honestly hope MAB stays out of the ring.
    He had an awesome career...I wish that would be enough.

    Signing with DK is a desperate move....

    5 Years is too long of a deal, a 5 fight deal would've been better.
