What!? he weighed 10 in the am's and now only 9'9 after his shoulders widening and being 5 years older to still be in the same weight class is crazy

although when amir was at 10 stone before he grew i thought he was pretty regularly put down

I see, well the MAB fight is at 135 and if MAB gets Khan in a combo it could be all over for young Khan. They need to move him to 140 very soon.

It will happen, its three pounds.... I think they wanted to fast track him to a title and didn't think it was possibl at lightwelter..... In hindsight the division has emptied out a little. You'd give him a good chance Vs ?Mallinaggi and Bradley... Certainly better then Diaz, Campbell, Casamayor and Marquez.

**** jeff thomas, the punch by watson is the worst of all!

its not thrown with any hip or shoudler movement and catches him on the top of the head (not the temple) the delayed reaction with the chicken legs

Jeff, have u got any videos of barrera sparring in since the paqiaou fight. Or his fights in this period?

Watson was a fearsome puncher, even as an amateur. He's not got a huge amount of stoppages but i'd argue he's on e of the better punchers in the country domestically. I haven't mate.... I just get the vids off youtube matey

I was thinking the same thing, Lightweight is a hard, hard place at the mo, with Hatton soon hanging up his gloves LWW looks easier place than LW for sure.

surely warren can see by now that Khan needs to be taken back a step

hes not one of those de la hoya like olympians who will walk through everyone except at the very top

micheal moorer seemed to be baffled by the hype around khan and kept talking about how young he is.

he should fight on smaller shows in LA for a couple of years and let freddie roach really mould him without this Pay per view madness

Pretty surprised he has not been moved up already. 140 is not too great right now and I can not think of one opponent at the weight that could cause him problems never mind beat him.

Your 100% right.... but financially it was never an option. If Khan had of gone about things quietly then most would be raving about this incredible fighting machine you might catch clips of on youtube, like we all did with Yuri Gamboa....

Instead they've moved him along fairly quickly and there's no turning back. There is an intelligent way to progress fighters and this is not it.

True but if he doesnt boil down to LW it'll make it even harder for Frank to spend his career feeding him featherweights !

(Sorry but this revenge for Naz thing has hugley ****ed me off , I'm now praying his head gets seperated from his pencil neck !)
