I'd put it up there among the best rebounds ever. The guy looked as emotionally traumatized after that loss as any fighter I've ever seen. Lampley and Ring Magazine were openly fearful for his health if he kept fighting. He was Number 3 pound for pound going into that fight, and after 11 rounds it seemed like retirement was the sensible option. But in 2004 he beats the brakes off Paulie Ayala, and then puts his signature on the rivalry with Morales with a close but clear decision. He wins Ring Magazine comeback of the year and Ring Magazine Fight of the year and notches two of his best wins less than 12 months after the loss to Pacquiao. Insanely impressive, imho. How would you say it compares to other epic comebacks?
Marco Antonio Barrera was the only one to beat the cheeky, provocative, UNBEATABLE Prince Naseem Hamed. And that beat him. After that IMO he could have lost every fight. He did what the world will remember him for.
