I've read that MAB will be active again in the ring come Nov. 7 against unknown Sammy Ventura 25W 19L. Common MAB you can pull better than that, lot of goods fight are more lucrative for you; 1. JMM - at least settle your business w/ Golden Boy 2. Edwin Valero - to prove that you still the man 3. Katsidis 4. Baby Bull 5. D. Diaz
Either Valero or Guzman. MAB may be close to shot, but he is still good enough to be an acid test against these 2. Put in Chris John as well.
Nothing would make me happier than to see Barrera go up against one of the top fighters in the world such as; Marquez or Diaz and to win decisively.
It makes no sense for Marco to make a comeback and not to fight anybody worthwhile. In his prime, Barrera was one of the best on the planet and beat great fighters, so I can't see Marco taking pleasure in beating on C level fighters. If he plans to do that he should stay retired, if he wants to make a comeback and take on somebody dangerous and improve his legacy as a result, I wish him all the best. Barrera has shown more in his last few fights than Roy Jones Jr has.
If he is going to continue fighting, I would like to see him rematch JMM (a rematch he should have pursued instead of the Pacquiao one, in the first place).
He could fight a bum in China then have a good oponent in hius second fight a lose bad, and thats because he is nopt the same he is past his best and in his way of becoming a shot fighter.
