Barrera's opinions on Marquez fighting Pacquiao and other things

He likes Berto and Mosley for Pac. Says JMM might be too old.

 

Barrera says he wants Pac to fight Berto. I agree all the way.

 

I want to see Pac fight Berto also.

 

Can anyone explain to me why MAB said that DLH gave Marquez a gift when Marquez beat him?????

MAB said it like it was fact. Like he knows for a fact that promoters can arrange a decision fix at the snap of their fingers.........

......could be that he knows DLH can arrange such things........like MAB's decision win in the first Rocky Juarez fight.

......the only difference is that the consensus is that JMM clearly beat MAB.....that is'nt the case with MAB's draw, oh wait a minute, they overturned that decision later on in the night and gave the win to MAB on an alleged scoring error by the scoring tabulator.:roll:

 

It WAS a scoring error, they showed the card. Marco got his nose broke very early in their first fight, and it could have gone either way. I was ringside for the fight, and that's how most people felt about it. One point either way for either fighter was plenty acceptable. Second fight, MAB was more careful and simply outboxed him.

MAB is on record that he feels GB was behind JMM in that fight, and that's why he left Golden Boy. I also think JMM won the fight clearly, but MAB has a different opinion and he's entitled to it.

 

i thought you're one of the conpiracy theory fans here, D? im not saying that MAB won the fight (coz JMM won it clearly imo), but its kinda absurd that suddenly you think that fixing in boxing never happens in boxing

 

The difference being is that the consensus felt that JMM clearly beat MAB......

......the fight you're alluding too, the consensus had JMM beating Pacquiao.....

You're comparing apples and oranges here.

Marquez complains about a decision in which most felt he won.

MAB complains about a decision in which most thought he clearly lost and says DLH fixed it for him to lose.

I just find it insane for him to say that........

.....and if you look at the same interview here fromt the thread starter.....MAB's distaste for JMM could'nt be more obvious......MAB states in that interview that Humberto Soto is the best lightweight in the world......
MAB rates Soto above JMM.....

They explained it as a scoring error.....did you notice that the scorecards posted on the internet had crossouts in it????

.......and MAB might be on record as stating that he thinks GBP is behind Marquez, but how does he explain that he (the loser of the Marquez fight which was billed as an eliminator with the winner facing Pacquiao)....how does MAB explain if JMM was the GBP favorite how he got first crack at Pacquiao?????


If you Bernie feel that JMM beat MAB, how can you defend MAB's actions post JMM fight? His slandering of GBP, who made him a partner in their promotional co. for Gods sake?

 

No question about it......

.....but at least the Morales-MAB feud is a two way street.
MAB's distaste of Marquez only goes one way, and the reason for it was simply that JMM beat his ass and earned the Pacquiao rematch.

MAB I hear threw a hissy fit tantrum and forced GBP's hand, to hand the Pacquiao fight to him, instead of Marquez who had beaten him.


I have never heard JMM say a bad word about MAB or diminish/ignore his accomplishments in any way.
