I downloaded the fight a few days after. It was pretty much what i expected, the first few rounds were a sparring session until Barrera finished Ventura in the 4th. His body work was hurting Ventura everytime he landed, and the fight didn't prove anything. It was shocking to see Barrera so filled out at lightweight, and the fight gave no indication of how faded he is. Ventura was there to lose.

It wa sa sparring session.Ventura was just an opponnent.Nice body work and that's was it.Ventura was easily his weakest opponenet in years and at 137,5 lbs he looked kinda flabby.

the 2 above posters nailed it

the crowd even booed at some point. It was a joke. Barrera could have taken him out in about 30 seconds.

I dont think Morales will give MAB the satisfaction........Morales will likely fight JMM next, and if by some miracle he wins or is even competitive in it, then a MAB fight is plausible.

My feeling is that Morales deep inside probably knows he's just not at the elite level anymore, or anywhere close.
.......ohh, every fighter tries to convince themselves otherwise, but I think deep inside they really know the truth of the matter.
