Be a shame if Haye falls at the first hurdle.

I woldn't be surprised. But I reckon if he does lose, he'll give it at least one more shot. Maybe a rematch with Barret or something. He could make up a silly excuse to save face somehwat and try one more time.

I've said from the Bonin fight when Haye started all his talk about moving up, that he would not stay long in the fight game. I think the man is looking to make as much money as possible in as short a time as possible. Even if he does well at the weight, I don't expect him to have any more than 6 fights and that's at a push.

I do think he has a shot.

Haye at heavyweight is one massive question mark.

Haye will be exposed soon enough, but I'm not sure if Barrett is the opponent who will lay bare The Faketrix.

I dont think either man will quit if they lose tonight.. It reminds me a lot of when Lewis upset McCall in London in 1994, he did a few disrespectful things to Oliver and the **** got nasty at the final press call like this did 2 days before the event when (Barrett got testy about Hotel and cars and food etc... being mistreated) McCall thought he was written off and completely being shunned by the press and the Lewis camp, and Pepe Correa put the final insult on it when all seated at the conference dias , Correa threw a sexy red suspender belt at McCall and ranted , thats the closest thing to any belt you are gonna take home with you.. Oliver left the meeting prematurely angry and vowed to make Lewis eat Pepes words... Lennox was talking about assaulting the American scene after beating McCall and was looking far past Oliver.. I remember OLivers words.. I am a desperate man, and a desperate man is a dangerous man.... Just like Barrett said.. i get deja vu on this one.. I also remember the british tv show this is your life were ready live on air to grab Lewis after the fight to wisk him off to do a show on him in the TV studio after his (Victory) his family and close friends were all on hand for the surprise but aborted the whole show because of the upset KO loss.. It was a major shock, but it was also the greatest single thing to happen to Lennox's career, it made him the best heavyweight in the world after they sacked Correa , and brought McCalls trainer (Manny) onboard to ressurect Lewis bigger and ultimately better...

Haye won't quit if he loses, even if he gets iced. Barrett has a very good chance and I think if Haye doesn't have him out of there after seven rounds then it's going to be hard work for Haye. I think that Haye starts fast and Barrett has his moments but eventually gets stopped on his feet after six or seven rounds.
