Barret is a 4:1 underdog vs Haye, just like Hopkins was vs Pavlik

wonder what odds you get for a barret no-show?
and match it with a hatton win within 3 rounds.

I was wondering where you were. Do you know I just had a look at your posts to try and find a particular one and honest to God, 60% or more of all posts you have made in the past 3 months have been about Haye and how **** he is.

You are utterly obsessed. Not only that but you have said Barret can punch and you have said that the first real heavyweight with any sort of punch that Haye fights will KO him.

So I presume you are predicting a Barret KO win. Right?

Haye KOs Barrett around 6 (I think he wants some work at 200+) and Hatton is lucky to scrape by Paulie.

I mean, it's just a 'let's not bull**** ourselves' kind of thing. David Haye is not losing his first REAL fight at heavy. He will **** Monte Barrett all kinds of up. Hatton however is a horse of a different color; he is on the slide and I think if a gutsy PM shows up he can win against Hatton 8-4 or 9-3. Hatton takes the early rounds (1-3 or 4) but gets outworked and outslicked toward the later part of the fight, once Paulie starts to move around him

Mormeck never looked for excuses but when I read that Haye is a star and that Mormeck is considerd as an average boxer it kills me. Haye's defining fight is still Mormeck and it's not so great.
Many fans don't realize Haye struggled with a much faded version of Mormeck. Many people seem to ignore Mormeck fought at 160 as an amateur and he was OK at this weight, he was not a skeleton.
Mormeck would have liked to fight at LHW as a pro : he was obliged to go at CW because Acaries wanted to protect Girard's WBA title.
At 175 or even at 190 Mormeck had an higher workrate, he was much more mobile etc. I don't think many guys watched how he destroyed Hill or Brown at this weight.
At 200 lbs Mormeck has 40 lbs of muscle to pack. Mormeck's stamina problems have increased since the 200 lbs limit, he has been very inactive for several years, he had been KOed by Bell, he had struggled in the rematch.. And it's Haye who is in his prime who complained : "I will not be 100% at cruiser !" What a joke.
Sad for a future HW star : Haye was unable to establish his jab against a smaller guy. Mormeck was even able to knock Haye down. Haye admitted he was close of being KOed... He is lucky that Mormeck was obliged to stop his aggression. Stamina is the key for a pressure fighter like Mormeck and he lost it !
Haye does not need Klitschko to be KOed : a 100% Mormeck would have been too much for him imo.

I laugh as the Haye camp refers to Dangerous Barnett.

4 to 1 seems a bit high, atleast until I see Haye do something at heavyweight. Barrett is a solid first opponent to see just what Haye has at the heavier weight. He is past his best and him getting stopped by Couser a few fights ago hurts his stock. But he has been a career contender who has been in with a lot of top fighters. He loses against the best he faces but has a track record of knocking off prospects. Guinn, Kirkland, and Beck were all prospects looking to make a move when Barrett beat them. Tye Fields falls in this category as well but he was strictly Arum hype and I don't think anyone took him too serious but Barrett did strike again there.

Haye was a good cruiser and I am very interested in his heavyweight career. I'm totally unsure how he does until I actually see him but I'll be pulling for him. The heavyweight division needs all the star power it can get. Haye could definitly be the guy to bring some attention back to the division. I'm convinced, if Haye grabs a couple good wins first, that he and Wlad could be a major showdown in late 09,early 2010.

Real test for Haye. Barrett will expose any fakeness in Haye.
