Tua reminds me of a large fighter on punch out on the NES where you have to go to his body for the KO victory.

If this drug claim has any relevance then, screw the trilogy and put Tua in with Wlad. Even if it is a legit loss to Monte, Tua is a much better opponent than Mormeck. I want Tua to face a live body before he retires because I want to see him knocked out.

If he's shot, how did he break Barrett's jaw with thunderous hooks?

He probably took a cold tablet a week before the fight.....Another BS ploy to make Tua relevant.........

Say...................:thinkWhen's he gonna fight the TRUE NZ Champ, Chauncey Welliver..........Barrett is on FB right now, asking for 100K to fight the Big Panda.

Meethinks he's gonna get more than he's bargaining for.:deal

I think it was the "supplements"

Barrett may not have known. Hard to say.

I feel very sorry for the guy if this was accidental.

    But somebody had to know.....

TV3 showed the official "test" documents.
How can there be any doubt?

Really Barrett should be stripped of all belts and a rematch called. Surely?

Not only that - but it is very possible Barrett did not even know what was in that Supplement. Apparently he bought it over the counter.

Barrett is suspicious about the timing of this drug test revelation, coming three months after the fight in question took place. He says he has lost sleep over Tua’s besmirching of his professional reputation.

Barrett admits to using the workout supplement 1.M.R., a nitric oxide powder sold over the counter at GNC, but says he was unaware that it contained any banned ingredients. He also says he was using the supplement when he fought Charles Davis to a lethargic draw in January of this year, and did a drug test then that came up negative.

“If I would have failed a [urine] test, they would have never let me leave out of New Zealand with those belts,” says Barrett.
