Is anyone else disspointed with the news that there is a change of opponent for Erik Morales this Saturday night?

Apparently Jorge Barrios is having trouble getting out of his country, and there's been a change in opponents for Morales.
The new opponent is Francisco Lorenzo. I dont know much about him, but he's certainly not the same caliber of opponent as Jorge Barrios, who's only lost to the very best in his divisions.

Thats too bad, I was looking foward to see what Moraless had left vs Barrios, who imo was going to present a stern test to Morales strenghth and resolve at the 135/140 division.

Is Barrios really having problems leaving his country, or did he just get paid off not to show up?????
In boxing, thats always a question mark.
    I'm just dissapointed.:?

Lorenzo is tough and game. Morales by close decision.

Looking at his resume he's a decent enough fighter, but he's not going to present Morales any major difficulties as this guy in not a big puncher or a particularly high level technician........

.......and to boot, Lorenzo is taking the fight as a last minute substitute.
Lorenzo who fights as a 130 pounder, I'm certain is'nt going to be in shape to seriously compete vs Morales.

Morales is a better fighter and I think he will win, but Lorenzo is a cagey vet so I think he will be able to steal 4 or 5 rounds at most and make it somewhat competitive. It also depends if he shows up to fight or collect the paycheck.

We'll what do you think, that man is a last minute substitute.
I'm sure he'd like a couple of months to really get himself in fighting shape, but when you present a man with a enticing paycheck, someone in Lorenzo's position just asks, "where do I sign?"

......against Barrios, we were going to find out where Morales stood as far as credibility to compete and go to the next level vs the upper echelon......
......now with Lorenzo and on short notice, no matter what happens in the fight, we find out nothing.

That fight was changed to a NO Contest......they rematched and Soto completely dominated Lorenzo.

Morales is, as we say around these parts, God.
