Apparently Valero was speaking of dominating the tournament, and that all the other fighters were too old and wood be outta boxing in a year. Barrios took exception to it, Casamayor was encouraging him, and then ya get what happened here.

Barrios is very good. Valero wood have problems against him. Too bad they aren't fighting first.

the final rounds of that fight Barrios-Freitas was good war, that cut was nasty.

 

They were different fights,Freitas had a wrong gameplan with Corrales,he couldn't move around the ring for 12 rounds,his stamina and Corrales's coming foraward style did him in.
And Barrios ain't exactly my boy,I just support him as he is a cool guy,a ****ing nut,is always entertaining and fights anybody.He is good for boxing.
I'm thinking Valero is way overhyped and should be a good fighter,BUT he is really untested at 130,and now he will be in with the wolves at 135.I'm just saying let's wait and see.I really am not sold on Valero but who knows,maybe he is the truth after all,the Pitalua fight should be good.

But Valero probably already is a LW contender as is Barrios.And Barrios is the more proven fighter between the two,if anything Valero is nobody,just like the guys he fought.

Yes,Valero actually said his comments were for Casamayor and Pitalua and Barrios was just the guy who wanted to shut him up.Casamayor can actually been heard encouraging Barrios when he firstly starts to interrupt Valero.

 

barrios is tough and has a big heart,u cant never rule somebody out with that determination.
i dont know much about valero,i dont believe in those 100% KO rate when u r fighting nobodys...i'll let u know when he fights next.
yep, Casa is old and not the same but still can show those young hungry talents a few tricks(ask kasidis)
