Manny is on the downward slope now. Barrios is a likeable guy but he's bang average and he might be catching Manny at the right time of slippage

I have a feeling that the PBC grand plan is to make Pacquiao v Tank.

Manny will show his age in the ring and could lose badly.

Manny is giving up 4 inches in height, 3 in reach , is 15 years older and hasn't fought since 2021 when he lost to Ugas who Barrios has beaten. If this goes the distance it's because Barrios is getting paid to make it so.

Barrios is not that good he went life and death in his last fight vs Abel Ramos who's a journeyman/fringe contender who was alot smaller BTW and he still hurt Barrios badly.

A 46 year old Pacquiao is still probably better than Barrios and doesn't need a fix.

If a fighter refuses to retire on his own terms then he will have retirement brutally forced upon him; Manny is a legend and I'm grateful for all he has given boxing, but he is playing with fire here and this could be a very graphic reminder as to why men in their mid-forties do not belong in the ring. I only wish he called it a day after he beat Thurman; that would have been a perfect note to go out on.
