I thought i would share this with the Brit forum, seeing as Barry Michael was born here and also fought over here a couple of times. This was a fight between two of the toughest and most avoided fighters right at that time. It was a clash between the prime minister and president of the who needs him club. Al Carter was a big puncher, who was also very solid all round. Michael was a ultra tough, educated pressure fighter who had underrated boxing skills and was a brillient body puncher. This was a crossroads fight and was meant to set up a clash with Boom Boom Mancini for the winner, which never materialized. Michael had to move down to search for a title shot. Enjoy!
