Hard to rate a bloke who king hits players in the AFL but then wont
step up and fight real fighters.

Hall strikes me as the type of bloke who would only fight someone
    he definately knew he'd beat.

If he was serious about boxing he wouldve got in the game after
    he left Sydney.

    you're just a stereotypical dumb *****

Of course you have to still talk it up :patsch

Does Mundine, SBW, Hoppa & the rest of the former Rugby players etc??? of course they do, Mundines made more money with his mouth than he ever has climbing between the ropes

I dont care how much money you'd pay to watch anyone, i wouldnt pay anything to watch a fight, if its on at the pub i might have a beer & a look, chances are i'll be there for a beer anyway

    All the real boxing fans??

How about i tell you something for nothing you dill, there are hardly any "real" boxing fans, for boxing to make money & gain a profile it relies on casual observers like me, blokes who like sport, like a beer, watch the odd fight at the pub, & read the odd article in the daily rag, these people, whether you like it or not are the bread & butter supporter of boxing, most of them have no idea regarding the intracicies of the sport but they enjoy a night out watching blokes beat six shades of **** out of each other

If you're a "real fighter" & a real fight fan, you should be at least happy that Hall brough a little bit of publicity to a very low profile, some would say dying sport

Me naive?? i reckon i've just told you how it really is, i'm broad minded enough to see where it was all going, yes it would have been a circus, & if Aussie boxing doesnt have a circus, it has nothing, because the casual observer wants a circus, he wants drama, he wants blokes talking it up & creating fueds, real or imagined, it doesnt matter

Barry Hall walks away having given boxing some publicity, knowing his heart wasnt in it, he participated in the whole "shebang" for a little while, found it not to his taste & still walks away with a pretty bright future i'd imagine, good on him

So at the end of the day your just a **** head and the only fighters you and your mates have heard of down at the pub are danny green, mundine, SBW and barry hall.

this conversation is over, your a goose and got no idea what your talking about.

im a real fight fan and a fighter, not a **** head you will find at the pub having a beer. i know what I'm talking about.

I have dedicated the last 7 years to training and fighting, i train 5-6 days a week for 2-3 hours. it takes dedication to be a fighter, Barry Hall talked it up saying he only wants tp fight real fighters. Did he only realise he has to train after he signed the contract. i see straight through barry hall, he is a weak ****. i have never thought of him as a tuff guy, now this just proves he is a *****.

you come across as the sort of guy who drives a convertible with the roof of on a cold day with the windows up and the heater on, look at me i have a convertible. your a goose....

STICK TO DRINKING BEER, LEAVE THE BOXING TALK TO REAL BOXING PEOPLE

    :rofl:rofl

    You really are thick

whether you like it or not, i am the face of the Australian boxing enthusiast

Myself & thousands of other sporting enthusiasts, just regular blokes who enjoy a beer, a punt, an average Australian existence, we're the ones who mostly watch Rugby League , AFL, & football but because of our love of sport will generally watch boxing if its on, might pay for a PPV, might even turn up at an event if its reasonably priced & we can have a beer & a laugh & be entertained

If you want to rely on "hard core" boxing freaks who are only engrossed in the intracicies of the noble art of pugilism & the age old rule of Queensbury, then your sport is dead, because there arent enough dead heads like you to generate enough money to keep boxing alive if you want to exclude us mere plebians who only know a bit about boxing etc

You might laugh at the circus, the likes of SBW, Mundine, Hoppa & any other johnny come lately, even Hall that has come out of the woodwork but if it wasnt for them & the publicity they generate then your sport would be behind lawn bowls & croquet in the Australian sporting conscious

Like i said, stick to drinking beer. You actually sound like your drunk now.

I know boxing is dying, My sport is muay thai, where the best fight the best. There aint no circus there. I still love boxing, clowns like hall are no good for the sport and blokes like you wouldn't know a good fight if they saw one.
i hate when clowns like you try to talk about boxing with me, as soon as they open there mouth i know they got no idea and i just can't be ****ed explaining how it really works..

    ahhhh okkkk..:patsch

You stay in your narrow minded little world, i cant be arsed explaining it to you again, suffice to say if Boxing is struggling for recognition, then Muay Thai is pretty much non existant

The last thing i'd want to do is talk to you, let alone talk boxing with you :good

    You have missed the point.

Barry Hall has competed at the elite level of sport as a professional for 17 years.....he has lost the desire to continue to compete at the elite level....simple as that.

    So who are you?

All good and well to call people weak ****s and bang on about dedicating your life to the sport of boxing for 7 years...might as well tell who you are and we can pass judgment on you and your achievements much like your doing to Barry Hall? You must of had a number of professional fights then?

Did you at any stage call out Barry Hall...

no i havnt missed the point, i really think everyone else is

barry hall went around hitting smaller blokes from behind in the afl, talked up a boxing career and now says he can't be bothered.

    oh what a coincidence
