    here's how "talanted" of a boxer les is, les mason picked a fight at a pub (a local to both) against a known amatuer star, and the 75kg amatuer dropped big les, gave his face some reconstruction, les hasnt shown his face there since

    Les' debut against the pathetic John Justice was almost as sad as it was funny.

    One judge gave him the nod over Michael Kirby - but that bout looks like it convinced Les the ring wasn't the place to be - he hasn't returned since.

    ****in hell the sport of boxing pisses me off sometimes. I have no interest in seeing some old footy player turn to boxing and make a fortune by fighting nothing but bums, Somoan bouncers with pro records of 1-6-2 (0 ko's), old brain damaged pros who are happy to be throw a few thousand every 4 months to be cannon fodder and badly ko'd and having to hear cringeworthy statements from idiots like Johnny Lewis, Angelo Hyder, Danny Green, Andy Raymond, Barry Michael etc etc on how ex footy player has all the ingredients to test the best in the world.

    Barry Hall can **** off and anyone who supports this circus can **** off.

    Any of the above mentioned guys makes me cringe just about every week these days with 1 of their outlandish statements.
    1 week its Johnny Lewis, next week Barry Michael, then PPV time its Andy Raymond

    Barry Hall is set to announce later this week that this AFL season will be his last.

    So as of early September 2011 he will be free of his career football commitments.

    Looks like once-and-for-all we'll see if Hall is going to pull on the boxing gloves.

    i dont like the whole footy player boxing circus anymore than the rest of you but at least someone like Hall could maybe get boxing a bit more publicity and encourage young kids to have a go at it. Just trying to think of a positive :D

    I'm not a great fan of the footballer turns boxer thing either Gonzo. But at least Hall has a junior boxing background and can actually box.

    to be honest the more people that want to fight the better, i really dont care, i just love watching boxing - even if its two blokes i have never heard of
