Yeah his team had zero class, the way him and his team were behaving you'd of thought he was the champ and Khan the challenger.

This is a professional sport, no sportsmanship, disgraceful interview by Mcloskey and Breen who is a dinosaur and has no business being on TV let alone in the ring.

The irony of hearn talking **** about Khan promotions yet him and his cowboy outfit pull **** like that in the ring after the fight

    Clowns the lot of them

you are so up to your eyes in Amir Khans **** that you cant even admit that it was bull**** stoppage and Khan is not a PPV fighter....

This could explain what I saw when i thought he looked drained in the presser the other day.

When myself and other McCloskey fans got lambasted by fellow posters for suggesting he looked drained. Either that or he was genuinely weight drained. The fact that De La Hoya was talking about fights at 147 indicates that Khan cannot make the weight comfortably

Also, why would McCloskey want to quit??
Khan hit him with nothing of any real substance and McCloskey was making him look below 'world class' without doing much himself.

Seriously, if you think McCloskey quit you are a ****ing tool, end of....

FFS, the stoppage was BS but don't tell me McCloskey's tactics were to rope a dope Khan for 11 rounds then knock him out in the 12th. This is boxing not ****in' Strictly Come Dancing. There was only one fighter trying to press the action and it wasn't McCloskey. I mean what's with the **** Naz impressions in the 4th, what a joke the guy lost every single round and he can cry all he wants, he does not deserve a re-match.

Did you hear Paul's post fight interview, saying Khan had gassed after round 2 and he was controlling the fight. Talk about deluded, if it had gone 12 rounds then he would have lost by shut-out. Utterly pathetic display and he has only himself to blame for the outcome. Crap tactics, miss & hit, well Paul forgot the most important part. As Breen's post match comments, well he's right up there in the **** of the month stakes with Asif Vali.

First, I'll have to watch the fight again to be sure because I was watching it on a stream that was lagging at that moment.

As for why McCloskey would quit...........maybe the thought of losing all the rounds and being embarrassed?

Mcloskey would want to quit because a stoppage like this looks better for him. Don't try and deny it.

Instead of looking at the faults of Khan, Mcloskey did not come to fight but he pulled some bull**** unorthodox **** which in NO way troubled Khan but did make him look I would say messy, not clinical, but fighters like Mcloskey can do that

He was behind on ALL cards, thats it. yet somehow he was going to knock Khan out, everything else suggested otherwise. Mcloskey is a very lucky man tonight.

    Did I say that dickhead?

    No.

Fight was stopped in round 6.

I'm not saying McCloskey would of won, i'm just saying he never got the opportunity to execute the gameplan that every other knowlegable boxing fan assumed he would employ, which was basically try stay out of trouble as much as possible, make Khan miss as much as possible and then do what you can later in the fight. Add to that Khan looking weak, this seems like a pretty legitimate tactic from a very big underdog with great stamina.

If you think Khan is world class with performances like that and are willing to pay to see that clown, then i give up....

This is mind blowing that genuine boxing fans would have this opinion.Truly shocking.

A massive underdog goes into a fight with a world champion. Loses the first 5 rounds without actually inflicting any real damage and in the meantime makes the heavily backed favourite look less that great, and then decides, in an instan, after an accidental clash of heads that, 'ya know what, i'm looking alright here, I think I'll just opt out now while I have the chance'.

Another thing, that doctor should never have been called up to the ring ith under 30 seconds of a round to go....

I think your hurt irishman who is try to defend a fellow countryman who just got outclassed and never won a single round and was down in round 4 and then looked like he quit in round 6 didnt seem very eager to continue.

McCLoskey landed only one clean punch the whole fight, Stop trying to hype McCLoskey into something he isnt and thats world class.

We have all had enough of McCLoskey its back to fighting in lesiure centers in Ireland for him

    It was a **** stoppage in a **** fight.

Pretty funny that the McCloskey team want to come out and say Khan isn't world class and blah blah and then say McCloskey, who didn't win a round against Khan, will be a world champion one day.

The whole thing has been a disaster from day 1. The ending is pretty fitting really.
