You bet your ass there will be excuses to discredit his victory. Let's beat them to it and come up with a list.

1. Ruiz let the fame/money get to him, he was no longer hungry, and came to cash out in the rematch.

 

I'm not 100% sure that AJ can beat Ruiz either. The fact is that the physical aspects are in AJ's favour but he may be mentally gunshy after Ruiz last carpet bombed him. I'd guess that AJ's fundamentals and size are good enough to make it 60-40 in his favour, but who knows what could happen if Ruiz turns it into a firefight again?

 

Hopefully when matchroom are ready to move on from AJ you will be as well, you are obsessed.
