So a blanket dismissal of everybody in boxing who feels a ban is justified because they must have an agenda. That's just laughable coming from you sat at BoxNation HQ.
Just watching Ringside, please look out for interview with John Dennan of Boxing News at the start, never seen someones head move so funny ever!
The whole show was incredibly biased. Sky asking Kell Brook to take the moral high ground and state that Haye, Chisora and all boxers need to be good role models is hypocrisy of the highest order given his past. Massive over reaction to the whole thing.
Give chisora a fine and a slap on the wrist. No way that deserves a ban they are boxers ffs it was a fight these things happen as we have all seen numerous times at press conferences. I've seen worst on a saturday night round town. It would be totally unfair to ban chisora considering how much people have got away with in the past. Yes he is wrong and he should be a "roll model" to young kids but seriously how many boxers have got into a fight outside the ring and not been banned. Things should just move on, nobody was seriously hurt so i don't see what the problem is. Besides i wanna watch haye vs chisora now !
Im sick of all these moral high grounders. John Prescott punched a guy in the face and was made deputy prime minister. It didn't mean every junior politician goes round punching guys to further their career. Yes, Delboy acted stupidly, but it's patronising to say that kids in amateur boxing clubs will now start threatening to shoot each other because a couple of "role models" had a scrap. Journalists and politicians do much worse things on a regular basis, so if i were them i'd stop harping on about fighters having a fight. It says something that Herbie Hide has been the one to talk the most sense about the whole debacle. Mike Tyson bit an opponents ear off, bit Lennox Lewis' leg and threatened to **** a reporter until they loved it. Kids didn't start doing that... Fighters do silly things, just like the rest of us. Slap their wrists and move on.
