Good on him I say, I wouldn't have too much issue with this fight if Frank ****** hadn't spent ages trying to tell us that he had no interest in promoting the fight and the scenes in Munich were a disgrace.

He did nothing to prevent the scenes, if anything he instigated them by stirring up the argument between Haye and Chisora. When Derrick stood up, did he do anything to stop it? No, instead he stood there smirking as Dell Boy strolled passed him, knowing all it too well that it was going to kick off and he absolutely loved it, his smile was reminiscent that of a ********** that's just been locked into a nursery with no supervision, no camera and tainted windows.

I can handle a lack of morals if your upfront about it, but he is a coward, a liar and he has no integrity, **** that I really cannot stand that. I don't want to see Frank profit from this, if he puts on a good fight, develops fighters through good promotion then I will be the first to give him credit but not here I won't. This entire scene devalued the sport, and whilst I like the fight I don't want people to see Boxing as a charade, a circus act and when this is announced it will play right into the naysayers hands and they can play on this for a long time just like they did with Haye-Harrison.

Rant over, and I appreciate that some will disagree with my views, I just hope you can see where I am coming from.

And I was here venting my spleen at his comments in the build-up to that fight, you cannot accuse me of being inconsistent.

I'm not too fond of old Barry to be honest but I do think that since taking over the Boxing side of Matchroom Eddie has done a terrific job, I will watching with interest to see if he can keep it up when the new season on Sky begins.

According to Longcount the BBBofC won't have much say in it so I don't know why he's whinging.

Haye-******-Chisora have had this planned from the beginning.

  10. The same as any sparring session in a gym.

If these two blokes want to fight, they can fight, with or without the Board's approval.

The board are a company, in the same way that Asda, HSBC, or Next are, rather than a ''governing body'' as such.

A ''sanctioned fight'' is merely one with their stamp on it, much like a WBC title fight.

There's absolutely nothing to stop you or I setting up our own British Boxing Board of Control, it would just resemble the split in darts back in the 90's.

How dare you suggest such a thing.

  15. Yeah, absolutely.

The only thing needed to start a fight is two people wanting to hit each other - it's as basic as that.

The fact that people might make money out of it is frankly irrelevant. You don't need to set anything up - it's you that's doing the sanctioning.

If you want to take it a step further (with it being you that sanctions fights between other people) of course you'll start trading as something or other.

The Board isn't fit for purpose, that much is very clear.
