Barry Hearn yet again not covering up the fact it is Team AJ ducking Wilder...

Now i'm not claiming to be 'In the know'......

But I tried telling everyone days ago about the whole BT Sport/Warren thing and was accused of making it up.

 

LIES LIES LIES, that snake Hearn and duckroom and Jenner the ducking coward and all that. They will tell you Hearn has lied all throughout this video but they wont break it down, they wont explain a single lie. Worst thing is every time Finkel thinks hes got something on Hearn he is out ringing all the media outlets, and next thing hes right there looking like a peanut waving sheets of paper around. But he isnt out denying any of what Hearn is saying. He isnt saying a great deal at all and if he had been replying to Eddies emails and offers and contracts hed be proving it to us.

 

It works both ways though.

Watch Eddie Hearn's interview a couple of posts back and you'll see that Wilder's camp are the ones taking the approach that Barry Hearn is talking about.

 

It's quite amusing that it isn't Eddie Hearn who has outed Shelly Finkel.....It's Frank Warren.

I agree with all of that. I honestly look at it as in the May Pac fight never happened. It was that late in happening it just wasnt the fight it was supposed to be when it did.

Barry is speaking "TOO" honestly. For a promoter the May Pac fight happened at the perfect time, where as to us it happened years too late. Thats how they think but they are not supposed to tell us that. But promoters are not the bosses of Boxers they can urge and recommed but they cant order. If they did they would kill Boxing.

I also agree that Barry hasnt weighed up the risk with wanting to hold this particular fight years down the line. He hasnt understood the landscape of the division. He must see Joshua as a lot better than he is, hes very good but hes got flaws, he looks beatable. Same goes for Wilder.

 

He said he thinks Joshua and Wilder can make more money if they push the fight back TWO YEARS ... because he doesn't think anyone can beat either right now.

And he said he thinks Finkel wants to cash out on Wilder now, which led Hearn to believe Finkel thinks Wilder is going to lose. (Which basically contradicts what he believes in that he thinks there's no one out there who will beat either.)

Finkel doesn't think Wilder will lose. He just understands the value of a series of fights.

The Hearns seem to be holding out for ONE BIG FIGHT, when Wilder is middle-aged.

Finkel has been involved in negotiating some of the biggest money-making PPVs in history, and understands the money is not just in one PPV but a SERIES of fights (Holyfield-Bowe I, II and III/Holyfield-Tyson I & II/Lewis-Holyfield I & II/Lewis-Tyson which was supposed to be two fights but Tyson refused to go thru with the rematch).

The Hearn family apparently hasn't figured that out yet.

They haven't spent much time previously in the big leagues.

There's always more money in a series of fights. Not just one big one. And the sooner you get going on that, the better.

That's why Wilder and Fury are going to fight a couple times in the next year.

 

Apparently Wilder hasn't figured it out either or he would take AJs offer, knock him out and make even more in the rematch.

 

Where in their offer did it say Wilder would make more in the rematch?

They offered Wilder a flat fee, not a percentage.

Did the rematch clause include more than that flat fee again? Or did they offer a two-fight deal? (If so, I missed that.) What was Wilder guaranteed for the return if the won the first fight?

I know Parker was offered a higher percentage (but still lower than Joshua) if he won their fight. Wilder wasn't offered a percentage at all.

Joshua's team doesn't want the fight until Wilder is a couple years older.

They've shown their cards.

If Wilder won the first fight he would hold all the cards for the rematch, like Ward and Bellew did in their respective rematches.

This is common sense, Wilder would absolutely get more money in the rematch if he won the first fight.

You described Wilder perfectly in your post, he's not a forward thinker, he's just holding out for one big cash out fight. What a shame.

 

Not if there is a rematch clause. All of Joshua's fights have rematch clauses which spell out what the other guy gets if he, in fact, wins. (One site printed the terms for a rematch before the Parker-Joshua bout because it was spelled out in the contract in case Joshua lost.)

Joshua won't sign the contract unless his opponent agrees to the rematch clause terms.

Parker didn't call any shots. And if he won their fight he'd already agreed to terms for the rematch.

Apparently, you are the naive one.

 

I think the second offer have him 50/50 in the rematch. Hearn said he'd bank 40m across the two fights.

Finkel's never heard of a contract.....
Dibella is now rimming Hearn in return for fights.....At least Dibella recognises he's part of the 'Yesterday men'.



And to top it all off - Al 'OG' Haymon is asking Frank 'Dollar Store Hearn' Warren for financial support because he can't finance $50,000,000 for a Undisputed HW fight.

 

It's kinda funny that it was Finkels own friend in Warren that outed him.
