On sky sports news today saying how AJ turned down an extra 15m so he could have the fight in the UK 'For the fans' I mean you can't make it up! Eddie obviously didn't prep his dad on what to say! Something very fishy is going on.
Just absolute bull**** from the Hearns. Educated fans can see through them. Fact is Joshua asked for 50 mil and then turned down the offer when his bluff was called.
AJ turned the 50m down as there was never any contract. Anyone could say they could provide the money but until you have it in black and white then there is nothing to agree. AJ turned an extra 15m because he wants the fight at Wembley. I don't see the problem wanting that.
But it's true. Who would seriously agree a 50m deal without a contract whether it's boxing or anything else. Hearn has put up a contract and Wilder is still not signing it. I think that proves it's Wilder doing the ducking.
I’m sorry mate, but even Hearn himself said that then $50m offer was legit and it was down to AJ about what he wanted to do. They then started the BS about oweing it to the fans to bring the fight to the U.K.- it is absolute nonsense. The main reason why the Vegas fight got turned down was because Matchroom/AJ wouldn’t have any control over the event. Never in the history of prizefighting has the heavyweight Champion of the world actually turned down to biggest prize available in order to fight for less money. I don’t blame either side as I think both are happy to delay it, I’m also happy with the Povetkin fight (although I of course wanted it to be Wilder) but you really need to open your eyes to Hearns BS.
I want to smoke some of the gear people are on in here. No 50 million dollar contract was sent, no proof of funds, no contract or counter offer has came from the states, email came personal from wilder who hasn't got 15 million never mind 50. P.S I hope either wilder or fury k.o Aj but wilder seems scared and fury is years away imo
Hearn actually said he only questioned it because of that email but he wouldn't question the integrity of Al Haymon and it's up to AJ. That is straight from the horses mouth.
Has there been a 50 million contract sent to Aj with all the details just needing a signature?? Yes or no answer.
Haha fact is they turned the offer down! Maybe there was a contract. I have zero idea truthfully. But Barry Hearn seems to think they turned it down.
Haha ok mate you keep going. Wilders team have said they didn't send a contract but you keep going. It was a email from wilder which got a reply saying we are interested send a contract or proof of funds?? Didn't send one.
