The BN PPV cost will come down in costs in line with what sky are charging when they actually have an event that people will be want to purchase in numbers higher then 100...there just testing out that there systems are operational with small cards before launching it for major fight and finding its not fcking working...

The problem is that there isn't a long term market for a dedicated boxing channel in this country, at least as a subscription one as the costs are too great. Great for fans but a **** long term business idea

And as for profile on BN, if anyone wants to see you you have to subscribe to that channel, whereas sky sports has 50x the subscribers and c5 is free

Remind me, what happened after that?

I do believe a certain individual came on board to save the company.

Well please provide a source which says any such thing about "saving the company".

You can't just take the fact that someone put some investment into the company, and *assume* it needed to be saved. How about it needed money for a new HD channel?

    Evidence for this?

People have been saying that BoxNation wouldn't last right from the start. It's still here, and it now has a HD channel.

Right, but still, a lot of the boxing on Sky gets lows ratings. Let's actually wait to see if you can build up fighters on BoxNation. Frampton seems to be doing OK. Yeah, he had previous exposure on Sky, but he seems to be doing fine on BoxNation and it isn't like Quigg is a well known personality just from being on Sky Sports.

And if you are thinking of Bill Ives, as far as I can tell, they made a funding annoucement before you made your comments.

If there was some funding needed after that, to "save the company", then please provide a source.

Perfect in what they say , They stumbled making the ibf Martinez fight and will do the same with LSC imo as there is a lack of financial clout , Seems to be a good relationship with Matchroom and Schafer at Golden Boy so if they wanted LSC in a unification fight i think they could jump Frampton in the que , Framptons biggest mistake was leaving Hearn/Sky as Mcguigan wanted more say in things and a bigger slice of the ££ and untill he gets away from Boxnation i fear its gonna hurt his carreer which is a shame as i think Rigo aside hes the best in the division

think i read BN had 110-120k subscribers, but yeah those numbers by and large are much bigger than BN subscriber base

Not really. A few of the numbers are less. Some are around that level you mention. Some of the numbers are a bit higher.

id imagine BN figures to be fairly inaccurate as most like myself hook up the laptop to the TV and view via a stream on the net , Lotta folk especially Scottish fans would not give Frank the W4nk there money after him ripping off guys like Ricky Burns Nathan Cleverley etc etc

Boxnation... be down the **** pan soon that channel.

Imagine if SKY just decided that they want the big fights from the US... It's game over.

£12 a month for something I used to get for free on Virgin (Setanta), used to get premiership footy, UFC, rugby, and boxing show as well.

    Fook that.
