A bit late but I remember Jones commentating on the Molina/Ishe Smith fight and on air he said he thought Rose would beat both of them, and on Twitter he said Liam smith would beat them both.

Thoughts? Ridiculous comments IMO Molina and Ishe win easily against both Liam Smith and Rose.

Molina would spoil them both to death, reeking the joint out as is his custom.

I enjoy watching him, he's not as boring as people think, he comes forward and throws a lot of punches.

...which are pitter-patter and punctuated by an excruciating grapple/hold fest, fight after fight.

That being said I do feel the guy is due a certain grudging admiration.

If you can keep Molina at range you can box his head off. Whether anyone can do that is a different matter. Its definately not going to be Rose or Smith

I agree. This guy was handily beating James Kirkland last year. underrated fighter.

Brian Rose vs Carlos Molina has the potential to be worst than Ishe Smith vs Carlos Molina

I think it would be more crowd pleasing as Rose has less movement and is easier to hit than Smith. One sided though.

Rose is pretty poor tbh, he got a bit of a lucky decision last time out on the Rees-Crolla undercard against a guy who got stopped by Chris Eubank Jr a couple of weeks ago.

    Says it all.

Rose is pretty poor i agree, that divison is pretty rubbish domestcally and both would get anihilated by sergei rabechenko let alone molina.

**** it even Ryan Rhodes would beat them both

Molina on neutral turf can ugly his way over both.

Smith might be more 50/50 with either. (and I'm a fan & friend of Shay...)

He was honestly very lucky to meet up with a paper champ like K-9 whilst K-9 held a belt. If not for Don King setting that path up for K-9, and Mayweather then lining up the K-9 shot for Smith, I doubt Shay would ever have fulfilled his boyhood world championship dreams. I'm over the moon chuffed that he did, but if things shook out any differently than precisely as they did there are precious few other circumstances under which he could have conceivably done it.
