i like most really like him as a studio analyst but i dont like him as a ringside commentator when he did it years ago. its been a while
I like McGuigan, very different than most in his analysis of fighters when commentating ringside or as a pundit in the studio...:yep McGuigan has shown on a few occasions when he has got it wrong that he has the humility to say so which some commentators and pundits are very shy about doing...:deal
Never seen McGuigan as a commentator, but I don't really like him too much in the Studio either. Too critical for my liking.
true. he was though up khans ass when he was commentating on itv. he must have been on strict orders from his pasmasters
he isn't too critical, calls it like most us - as he sees it. I need to ask him if he felt like a robber having to stand with Nelson at the Haye-Harrison fight having to promote that shite.
when he was commentating ringside his analysis and reading of fight was great it was just his high pitch voice that was annoying
He calls it as he sees it most of the time which is what you want, especially as he's been there and done it but I suspect he's a bit hard to reign in
McGuigan is a brilliant commentator, says exactly what he thinks, IMO hes more analytical and also knows more than most of the others out there.
