    yeah it was on telly i think i remember thinking that it looked like the chairs old fashioned wooden fold up chairs and didnt the ring gety invaded quickly.

    daho was a real good pro lost loads and kept going and fought for a world tittle in the end

    Dont agree with the He would have flattened Barry statement but i do agree he would beat Mcguigan

    I still remember watching it live as a kid. I was hoping it would go the distance so I could stay up late but it was an early bed for me!:lol:

    just off topic here but now daho has been brought up ,wouldnt him vs michael gomez of been a great fight

    If he fought him in Vegas, Barry would have been KO'd in jig time.

    I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, Barry had no reverse gear and he'd need one against Nelson IMHO.:good

    Barry was as tough as **** in his prime,a great pressure fighter,had very good power and a lot of heart.Nelsons a better fighter so id go for him to win but Barry could go the distance and win some rounds

    I think that Nelson would have not been able to have missed McGuigan, his constant come forward stance would have made him a victim of his own aggresion...:yep

    I agree 100%, I would fancy Gomez to stop Daho between 8-10 rounds with relentless pressure...:yep

    yeah mcguigan would of been badly marked up by the end of the fight which would for me come inside the distance , which would of been 15 rounds
