yeah, you're probably right, maybe someone like McMillan would be a better choice for an upset pick.Cowdell is underrated as Brit featherweight though.

Further to my earlier post, i have been considering this match further and i still come down on Mcguigens side, my overiding thought is that i think its no coincidence that Naz always seemed to look least impressive against fighters who maintained pressure on him, he was not very impressive against the slow mathodical Cesar Soto, he was not very impressive against the light punching Wayne McCulloch and of course he was not very impressive against Paul Ingle - three pressure fighters and three poor performances, And Barry McGuigen was a much more Varied and Skilled Pressure Fighter than any of them, Coming in behind the Jab then before jinking to the body, Barry was Faster, Harder Hitting with better Structured attacking, and great Stamina then this aforemention trio

If Styles make Fights i am drawn to the conclusion that Naz simply will not feel comfortable with Barry's Style wrapped in a 100mph 3 mins a round pace.

And a further thought, considering the way MAB beat Naz with sound old fashioned fundermentals....i am even starting to wonder if Naz would have beaten Stevie Cruz himself ...Think about it on that night Stevie had excellant mobility, a good Jab, a g9ood countering right, grit determination and excellant stamina, A fast paced fighter like McGuigen might of been expected to wilt in that Heat...Would Naz have done better ? anyway another subject for another day,

I still on second review feel Barry wins this one.

:deal You really made some good points .Although Im still not changing my mind on Naz knocking out Barry,But you had some very good points on naz weakness and Naz on a bad night would have got his ass whupped by Cruz or Mcguigan,but Im guessing this post is the best NaZ

Barry at his best was a very rythmical fighter, capablev of defenging when going forwards, and had great stamina, and a wicked left hook to the body, He didnt just attack in a streight line, he came in behind a left Jab, from various angles, and i cant help but think that Naz will be made to feel very uncomfortable with having to fight, respond 3 high paced minutes of every round, I think Barry will leave him flustered with the pressure, and those Hooks to the Liver will sap Naz's movement until he is just looking to land a big shot on Barry to rescue the situation, i dont think Barry gives him the Luxury of Time to Plot its Landing.

In full flow there was no Brakeman on Barry's Train, he has a bad Cargo for Hamed and i think he would deliver it around the 9th

Fighters to worry about what Naz was going to do give him Set-up opportunities, Good Fighters who go about their High-Class business and leave the Responding to Hamed would be half way there,

When Barry got caught with a big shot by Laporte he kept his head, readjusted and came back, he could come through a rocky patch or two

When i watch Naz against Paul Ingle i think if it was Barry in there instead i think the Cyclone would blow him out of the ring, Barry would not be put off or slowed down by pulled faces, shakes of the head, or wide stances and waving arms, Barry was All Business and would not allow Naz any Playtimes ! I think by the half way stage Naz is so concerned about Barry Left hook to the Body he Forgets Barry has a Thumping Right hand also, and this might be the punch that puts ultimately him on ***** street, that and Fatique from Barrys unrelenting Pace.
