I'm going on holiday for 10 days and I'll need a good book to read. I think this might be the one to get. Apparently he didn't have a Ghost Writer.
I see the hardback is on sale on Amazon for £9.95. I remember listening to McGuigan talking on the radio about his brothers suicide. It was moving stuff. McGuigan put his buzzy media personality to one side and spoke with a bare bones honesty. There was a lot of wisdom in his words. I wonder if he wrote about this in the book.
From what the other guys are saying it doesn't sound like it'll take much more than an hour or 2 to get though.
He went into great detail about the Eastwood saga in the book he did with Harry Mullan and Gerry Callan (?), The Untold Story. It is out of print now I believe but it is a good read if you can get hold of it. I didn't think Eastwood said a lot about McGuigan tbh in his book.
We also got a 2 minute power show from Errrol Graham:bbb Barrys a ledgend and I'll defo be getting his book.....tomorrow for fathers day or I'll be pretty pissed off an they can shove the Disney holiday up their little arses:twisted:
