Yeah i thought that, but its fine margins .. As long as Barerra and Morales arent in the top 3 im happy ..... Chavez, Olivares, Zarate, Lopez and Sanchez were better all round fighters than Barerra and Morales .... Memories of Zarate are short in here, this guy was perfection at Bantamweight and he would have reigned for a lot longer had he not been screwed against Pintor .. Barerra and Morales would have been destroyed against Wilfredo Gomez at Super-Bantam, and they would have been dealt with by Salvador Sanchez at Featherweight ....
1. Chavez 2. Sanchez 3. Olivares 4. Lopez 5. Barrera 6. Morales 7. Canto 8. Marquez 9. Zarate 10. Saldivar
Good list almost like mine. Maybe we know the same thing about these fighters. I thought you would have Lopez higher than Olivares as i know how highly you think of him, did watching some recent Olivares footage change your mind? Actually i have those 2 really close. Best list ive seen outside of mine
I don't think we could ever be truly fair about Ricardo he is the most perfect fighter I have ever seen. As much as it will **** off some people Floyd ripped off his combos the proof is in the video.
I havent seen enough of half the men that usually appear on top 10 Mexican lists.... but Chavez is the best Ive seen, easy. I certainly wont complain with Morales or Barrera being ranked so high, I think both men are 2 of the greatest fighters of all time & would be elite p4pers in any era. Ps. I think Mcguigan should switch Morales & Barrera tho, not a lot in it but I dont think any true superiority was proved thru the H2H battles & Erik has the slightly better record vs the better fighters, never stopped until he was past it, beat 2 men that KO`d Marco & was better at 122 lbs than Barrera was at any time in his entire career in any weight. (Sorry Addie but Im guessing this **** doesnt suprise you one bit )
Forgot to add.... well done Erik Morales vs Jose Alfaro (even tho we never got the fight here in the UK) :happy
