In his column in the Daily Mirror today Barry printed his top 5 P-4-P list. Here it is:

    1 - Manny Pacquiao

    2 - Juan Manuel Marquez

    3 - Antonio Margarito

    4 - Joe Calzaghe

    5 - Bernard Hopkins

I'm not Joe's biggest fan, but how anyone can slot him in at 4 is beyond me. I have him sitting pretty secure at No.2, and can't envisage him anywhere below No.3.

    Opinions?

He is a bit high as well.

I would have him down at 6.

What has Margo done except for winning the fight of the year, and handing the hottest upcoming/proven property in boxing a total beat down! That, and knocking out Kermit for a second time, and being the only person yet to beat him.

Barry is actually on the panel of the Ring Magazine top ten p4p list of compliers, I believe.

No he has not. He can not box.

Just because you beat a guy that may be in top 5 it does not mean you automatically catapult into the top 5 yourself; it could be (and mostly likely is) a styles issue.

We had this problem with Pavlik, and suddenly he lost and he's nowhere to be seen. Same will happen with Margarito.

this year its two fights, two world titles, two brutal ko's,1 of which was over the most highly touted fighter of this decade,is top 5 material imo

and i personally never had pavlik higher than 10 p4p.
