    McGuigan doesn't want the Rigo fight, that's plainly obvious.

    Also I don't think he's too keen on fighting Quigg just yet, Frampton wants too fight Quigg but I'm not 100% sure Barry does. There must be a method to his madness, if I was Barry I'd try to get him some exposure in the USA.

    The yanks will lap the Irishman up as every other white yank " claims" to be of irish descent.

    Rigos challenges are at featherweight.... Mares, Gonzalez, rematch with Donaire and Loma...

    Really Rigo proves nothing by beating Frampton

    If he moves up and clears out the division he can be classified as an ATG, he cannot do that by staying at SBW and beating Frampton... Rigos main objective atm is finding a promoter who's going to manage his career for Rigo and not for himself unlike Uncle Bob did

    Testing himself outside his natural weight class is the best move for Rigo (and for Frampton)

    I agree but it's shocking he can't unify the division because the other 'titlists' aren't capable of beating him and won't put themselves against the best.

    What's also frustrating is you have Ward dicking about,taking his position for granted and unwilling to fight any real challenge and you have Rigo trying to fight those in his weight class and improve himself yet those concerned run. Including his shitty promoter

    Would be silly to dive straight into a Rigo fight when Quigg fight is a bigger payday and it looks like he wants it now.

    Quigg obvously saw something in Frampton that makes him think he has the beating of him

    Or he just wants to make money? Framptons by a mile the biggest fight Quigg could have so of course he wants it, I'm sure a lot of fighters would fight Rigo if he was the biggest draw, doesn't mean you think you will win the fight by any means.

    He is the best in the division by far, Barry has basically said they wont consider fighting him.

    Rigo even said he'd fight in Belfast and they still won't take it.

    Not really the issue here is it. Frampton is a legit title holder and is making excuses to not fight the best in the division.

    He didnt say 'We want the mando sorted and Quigg, then we will look at Rigo"

    Boxing is prizefighting and if it doesn't make monetary sense, then why do it? If they step in the ring and put their life on the line, then they are entitled to take the best route to them. Everyone does it nowadays and what Barry is saying is no different.

    Not so great for us fans, but we aren't in there getting our faces boxed in...
