well isnt Quigg like his mandatory or something since he hold the wba 'baby' belt? ddoes that fight have to take place first
Chris Avalos seems to be the mando that Carl has inherited along with his new title. Avalos appears to be resting a hand injury, which is fortunate cos he appears to be a bit of a nobody, profile wise, no disrespect, and might be amenable to stepping aside to allow Carl v Scott before Xmas.
Why fight Rigondeaux now when the odds are he will lose fight Quigg in a fight with more money and publicity and it's a fight he should win
Exactly. Beat Quigg and he and Barry are 100% in the driving seat. Even if they have to accept Hearns terms, what about it. Go to Manchester - leather 7 bells out of Quigg and heres what happens: Barry: "Geez Eddie that was great. Cant wait for the rematch in Belfast eh? Eddie: "Er...Barry old pal .er ....um......can we have a word with you ....
Yeh why try beat the best in your division, why bother trying to unify belts when you can take the payday and hold yours ransom. Like I've said,Barry could say they will deal Quigg and Avalos first, then Rigo. Instead he has quacked completely
U mean unify them in Rigos hands! Which is probably what would happen right? Everybody knows Rigo is tops at 122. Thats the difference between you (as a fan) and Barry (as Carls manager). It all depends on where youre coming from. Barry has Carls welfare as HIS priority, no? Thats fair isnt it?
So what's the plan after Quigg/Avalos if Rigo gets LSCs belt...retire? As a fan I totally understand the need to get what money you can from your career but to basically admit you have no intention of testing your man against the best at any point, even after the Quigg payday and possibly a LSC match is a load of **** tbh.
Christ Hearn gets abuse for all sorts,Barry admits they won't fight the best in the division and gets praise. Incidentally Froch got called a ducker for not going after the Ward rematch, what's the difference?
What Barry really means is that Rigo would kick the sh it out of Frampton. He best fight at domestic level with fighters like Quigg if he hopes to hold onto that belt.
I strongly believe Frampton beats every SBW not named Rigondeaux i don' think this is a case were they have to hold a belt hostage Frampton's more then capable of beating top SBW's. I highly doubt LSC will fight Rigondeaux, he won't even fight Quigg and there's less money in LSC vs Rigondeaux than there is LSC vs Frampton and maybe even LSC vs Quigg. He will see Frampton and Quigg as beatable but Rigondeaux he knows he get's beaten.
