Based on Cotto's performance tonight, will he get past PAC's so called speedkills?

I don't like you much and I have my reasons but you are correct - his speed and pressure would bother Cotto but will Pacquiao be the same offensively once he feels Cotto's punches? Fighting DLH @ WW has not proven anything, meanwhile, Cotto has proved himself @ WW. Pacquiao's defense is nowhere near Clottey's though...Very interesting fight...Time will tell.

Cotto handled Judah's speed and power very well, can't see how he can't handle Pacquiao's speed and power.

pac is at least 3 levels above judah though when it comes to class and ability... cotto may be elite/borderline-elite but pac is a certified p4p elite.

Well Zab Judah sucks, for one, and at no point in his career has he been anywhere near Pacquaio's level. Judah also fights scared against anyone who fights back in the first few rounds.

If he did, it would be on size alone.

Pac would drill straight lefts between Cotto's guard all night long, and the speed would be a huge factor.

Not sure if Pac could hold up to Cotto's punches. If he could, he stops Cotto.

Didn't need this fight to say Pac knocks him out.

I didn't give cotto more than 5 rd, furthermore Clottey's leg was ****ed, wasn't Cotto supposed to be a class above?

Pacquiao's speed and power is not going to overwhelm Cotto, Cotto took hits from both Judah and Mosley, both hit harder than Pacquiao. Cotto is a natural welterweight, he's not someone you can easily knockout, especially considering that Pacquiao at best is a JWW. Cotto has the size advantage, he will stand up to Pacquiao's punches easily, than knock Pacquiao out.

After what i've seen tonight and previous other cotto fights, as long as pac can take his punches i see pac winning and possibly stopping cotto mid-late rounds

:rofl He had to go low to handle it, PBF, Zoo, Clottey and Baldo didn't have to resort to going low against Judah.

Cotto had a stellar amatuer pedigree, he's a very good boxer/puncher/slugger. Cotto is one of the hardest hitters at welterweight, Cotto can take Pacquiao's punches, but can he take Cotto's?
