Based on Cotto's performance tonight, will he get past PAC's so called speedkills?

yeah. the only thing going for cotto is his size/strength advantage, 160 vs. 148-149. that's the only reason i'm not so sure of a pac victory. other than that, pac is a level or two above cotto in terms of ability, class and skill. there is no question that pac would win if size was thrown out of the equation.

I'm not underestimating Pacquiao, it would be a tough fight for Cotto, but Cotto will most likely knock him out.

Size does not matter considering Cotto's current condition. He's like washed up dela Hoya and Pac will run rings around him.

Cotto would definitely catch him, he's not an unskilled brawler like Hatton nor is he shot like Delahoya.

yeah. you can't also block/avoid what you can't see coming. pac's left is THAT fast and accurate. it will hit cotto repeatedly, solidly and hard all night.

I think Pac has a chance to beat Cotto, but Cotto is a better fight with two eyes.

He has definitely slowed down. Clottey tagged him a number of times and I thought he would not last the 5th round. Pac being a good finisher will surely stop him w/ his swarming style.

Hatton is a good brawler, maybe even better than Cotto. Both guys have terrible defense and the reason Hatton got iced is because he had no defense and can't do much going backwards. Cotto gets TKO'd in 3 rounds against Pacquiao, too much speed, too much power, too much stamina, too much movement and too much everything.

If Cotto thought Margarito's one-dimensional **** SLOW aggression was too much wait till he runs into this machine.

it doesn't matter, pac would make cotto fight with one eye again. Cotto is always susceptible to cuts and it always happens when he's up against dangerous fighters who are tough and can hurt him. And he will always fight backwards against said fighters, mosley, margo, clottey

That version of Cotto will have a hard time finding pac atop the ring so for those who are asking if pac can withstad cotto's punches, the answer is he doesn't have to because that cotto won't be able to hit pac with a solid shot while he will be peppered with punches from all directions.

I feel like a pachugger again. :yep

I saw Marquez daze and hurt Manny. what do you think Cotto would do? Pac gets destroyed. he better fight Floyd instead at least he'll just be out boxed. Thats better then being hurt badly.

That's not an excuse because cahmpions can always find a way despite inuries which cotto just showed tonight. Clottey fought with one leg after that cotto ALA ufc take down.
