power, chin, heart, strength, speed are all boxing ablities in my book.

If you're goning purely on technical ability then its

    1. Kotelnik
    2. Khan
    3. Ortiz
    4. Maidana

    Overall though

    1. Khan
    2. Kotelnik
    3. Maidana
    4. Ortiz

Styles make fights and sometimes the better man loses because of a difficult style matchup. Fighters also don't perform at the same level in every fight.

Prescott beat Khan, but I'm pretty sure you would say that Khan is better than Prescott

Yes but were talking about boxing ability here, Kotelnik outpointed Maidana over 12 hard thought rounds. Prescott-Khan was merely a case of a glass jaw meeting a power puncher. Besides Khan has shown noticeable improvement under Roach where as Maidana beating Ortiz isn't so much of a shock.

of course when it fits your agenda you can come out with tons of excuses. I can do the same thing to argue the other point but won't cause its an endless circle.

Like I said before boxing ability includes chin, power, strength, speed, etc. If you are judging purely on technical ability then you could say Kotelnik has even more than Khan, because Khan's main asset today was not his skill but rather his speed.

I wasn't coming out with excuses mate i was just arguing my point and i wasn't excluding all round ability didn't mention it once. Normally when one fighter does enough to outpoint someone over 12 rounds, in most cases it indicates they are the better fighter and these two had Kotelnik at the bottom and Maidana on top, which i thought was ridiculous
