I can understand your frustration - wiping out a small island of 60 million people, of which just a fraction are boxing fans, will definitely force the rest of the world to admire the Klitschko brothers.

It's clearly the UK that are preventing US television networks picking up their fights, and it's the UK forcing US fight fans not to give two shits about the brothers or the HW division as a whole. Damn, what a powerful little island.

 

You're right - the forum would be better if it was only occupied by Germans who don't watch any boxing outside of the K-brothers. Then we could spend all day discussing how the bros would demolish other ATGs that the posters have never even seen fight, how their losses have all been the result of foul play and how there is a racially motivated conspiracy to suppress the brother's accomplishments etc.

It's so damn bizarre. From an outside perspective it reeks of desperation. It looks like people form the UK are trying to boost 'their' fighters, both Lewis and now Haye, by detracting from the Klits.

That is not even relevant to anything I have said, I wasn't even talking about anyone forcing anyone else to like the Klit brothers - I simply doubted that the UK was responsible for the brothers not being 'universally admired'. See, I would have though that in order to be 'universally admired' then you would have the suport and backing of the most lucrative boxing market in the world (hence why I brought up the USA) but they do not, and I fail to see how the British fans are to blame for this.
